We use specialized tools like diamond blades to grind old worn-out concrete to a clean surface giving the epoxy a strong bond to cure to. We inspect for any cracks that may need to be treated before we pour the first coat. There is a lot of moisture due to Florida’s humid climate and being below sea level, so we use a moisture vapor barrier as our base coat. MVB offers crucial benefits by preventing moisture buildup, protecting against mold and mildew, and safeguarding structural integrity.
Once our skilled professionals lay the base coat, we can then integrate a decorative additive like flake or metallic pigment to upgrade the texture and look of your floors.
The last step is to add a polyaspartic topcoat to seal it all in. Making it more durable and UV resistant.
